Car seats save lives, but only when they are installed right. This week, Sept. 20–26, is Child Passenger Safety Week. It is a good reminder to double check that your little one's seat is the right fit for their age and size.

A few quick things to check:
🔹 Is the seat rear facing, forward facing, or a booster, matched to your child's age, weight, and height?
🔹 Is the harness snug with no slack on their chest?
🔹 Is the seat installed tightly, with less than an inch of movement side to side?

Twenty-five years ago today, we lost nearly 3,000 lives on September 11th. This morning, our team joined the Macon community downtown for a service honoring their memory and the first responders who ran toward danger.

Thank you to the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department, the Macon-Bibb Law Enforcement Foundation, and the Bibb County Sheriff's Office for putting together such a meaningful tribute. We will never forget.
