If you loved the corruption of the fae in ACOTAR, Edward’s angst for Bella, the creatures and biblical undertones from The Chronicles of Narnia…

Beyond the Village should be your next read.
—————
Perdita has always lived between worlds, her quiet human village by the sea and the whispering River Woodlands that have called to her since childhood. When a family secret is revealed, everything Perdita knows about herself and the family she loves unravels into chaos.

Fleeing into the night, she’s confronted by a dark, winged creature whose presence feels both terrifying and achingly familiar. As if the darkness obeyed him, he emerged from the shadows, only to leave Perdita with more questions than answers.

Drawn to the darkest part of the River Woodlands longing for answers, Perdita runs into more creatures written from the fairytales her sea captain father used to tell her at bedtime. When she’s finally released from the clutches of the forest, she’s thrust into a kingdom ruled by a merciless king who hunts anyone who dares to trespass into his kingdom.

Hunted, betrayed, and armed with power she never asked for, Perdita must do the unthinkable to survive.

It's been a few days since I've engaged much on the apps. My algorithm I'm sure is angry with how I've abandoned it. But I'm back at my desk now. Reasons for the delays are due to some health issues that have kept me close to my bed.
Today, I have so much to attend to, but I want to thank everyone for your continued prayers and support. I'll mend. God is still in control.
But you deserved a thank you.

Thank you!
