Four things that I learned DJing a prom last night and a question:
1. Teenagers can be a tough crowd at first. They have to feel you out first.
2. They still listen to Sir Mix-A-Lot “Baby Got Back” (who knew 🤷🏽♀️)
3. They can dance to trap music and worship music
4. Sinners the movie has influenced this generation. A young black girl asked me to play a song all the way through from the soundtrack at the very end when almost no one was left and people were cleaning up (that was dope to watch).
Question: who is “Cotton-eyed Joe?” 😂
