A Supreme Court lawyer has sent a legal notice to the government demanding the cancellation of the Tk 1,000 banknote and an immediate halt to printing money without adequate gold, silver, or foreign currency reserves. The notice warns of a High Court writ petition if no action is taken within 15 days.
