Jill Meyer-Lippert RDH, CH-ONC

Turning Passion Into Purpose

When Jill Meyer-Lippert recognized a gap in oral healthcare for people navigating cancer treatment, she couldn't find a clear career path that allowed her to pursue that passion. Rather than letting that stop her, she followed her instincts and launched Side Effect Support LLC in 2013.

What began as a response to an unmet need has grown into Jill's professional mission: helping dental and medical professionals better support patients experiencing the oral side effects of cancer treatment. Jill holds a Certificate in Oncology Management from the University of Indiana School of Nursing and serves as a Professional Educator for Waterpik.

MOST impressively, Jill is a “triple threat” in the NNHH circles…we know her as student, member, AND instructor with NNHH.

The journey hasn't always been comfortable. As an introvert, Jill had to overcome her fear of public speaking, while running a business on her own meant learning everything from accounting to social media. Those challenges became part of her growth.

Jill's passion for oncology continues to drive her forward. Her audacious goal is for Side Effect Support to become a trusted resource for healthcare professionals everywhere who care for patients after a cancer diagnosis. And that they continually identify gaps in care and develop meaningful solutions.

Her advice for all of us? Believe in what you bring to the table. She reminds us of a quote that resonates deeply with her, “You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.”
