🚀 South Texas Worlds of Work was a HUGE success! 🌟

More than 1,100 students in 8th and 12th grade came together for the inaugural South Texas Worlds of Work, presented by Workforce Solutions in partnership with South Texas College!

Students didn’t just hear about careers — they experienced them! 🙌
Through hands-on activities and interactive experiences, students explored career pathways in:

Workforce Solutions in partnership with Edinburg Economic Development Corporation , UTRGV Professional Education & Workforce Development and the UTRGV Career Center recently brought together IT leaders from nonprofits, education, private industry, and government for an important IT Taskforce meeting focused on one shared goal: strengthening the region’s IT workforce.

🔹 Discuss credentials and training that can lead to career opportunities
🔹 Develop partnerships and programs that connect community members to the skills employers need
