WinterSpring is honored to be making a Positive Change with the Medford Food Co-op this August.

All month long when you shop at the Medford Food Co-op, rounding your purchase up to the nearest dollar will support WinterSpring.

When you check out, say “I’d like to round-up for Positive Change,” and the Medford Food Co-op will round-up the total of your purchase to the nearest dollar, or you can give any desired amount.

We will also be in store every Thursday this August from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and we would love to see you. Come learn about WinterSpring or simply say hello!

This month Mo(u)rning Coffee will be hosted at Chevy Way on July 6 and 13.

Mo(u)rning Coffee is a free, drop-in group in Medford that offers chance to connect with other adults while navigating grief.

People 18 and older who are at least two months past a significant loss are invited to come together for coffee, tea, and community. Come if you can, when you can.

This free, online series of classes covers the natural process of grief, healthy mourning practices, and the importance of ritual and ceremony. It works to dispel myths and misconceptions about grief in our society.

Learn to identify your own mourning needs and the best ways to care for yourself. Develop resilience and find ways to have compassion for yourself on the journey. The classes include exercises and question and answer sessions. You can engage as much or as little as you are comfortable.

We gathered to honor family, friends, and community members this past weekend at WinterSpring's Memorial Grove. It was a beautiful day filled with tears, laughter, and reflection.

Together, we were touched by the heartfelt words of those who spoke and performed. This event serves as a reminder each year of the immense love that is a part of loss.

The Wall of Remembrance at Memorial Grove has been a place to connect with loved ones for over 25 years and is located at Donahue-Frohnmayer Park Medford.

Thank you for sharing with us and for allowing WinterSpring to walk with you on your grief journey.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to WinterSpring throughout its compassionate 37-year-history. This past weekend we gathered to celebrate the impact and hope this program provides.

Each conversation, shared story, and person in the room reminded us of the joy and community that somehow finds its way through grief and loss.

WinterSpring has been through its own journey throughout the years, at times feeling untethered. We are in a stronger position now more than ever thanks to the partnership of La Clinica and The Learning Well.

From the original group of people who first met individuals on their grief journeys in 1989, to the friends who shared their office space with us before we had a home base, to the many supporters who are making our efforts possible today — thank you.

WinterSpring offers a safe and confidential environment for sharing, learning, and healing through grief. Together, we create a more grief-informed community.

We are so appreciative of the energy, authenticity, and unique presence each person brought and contributed to our Noticing Workshop at The Learning Well last week!

The "Noticing Practice" is one tool of many that we teach our peer-to-peer group facilitators. It's a useful skill in groups and in our personal lives.
