We close out our 2026 Staff Announcements with Coach Eric Mabbott! Coach Mabbott serves as the Team Manager for your Meridian Flyers. Coach Mabbott is also the Strength & Conditioning Coach, and has been great at getting our guys physically ready to play the game! This is his second season on the Flyers Football Coaching Staff. His son, #10 Boaz Mabbott, is a senior offensive guard & defensive end.
We are looking forward to a great season!

Today we round out our 2026 Flyers Football Coaching Staff Announcements with Coach Ryan Hanner! Coach Hanner is the Head Coach of the Flyers Football Team. This is his second season on the Flyers Coaching Staff. Last season he served as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Coach Hanner’s previous coaching experience comes from Newton High School and Newton County High School.
We are looking forward to a great season with him at the helm!

Today’s staff announcement is Coach Ethan Lewis! Coach Lewis is the Defensive Backs Coach for the Flyers Football Team. This is his first season on the Flyers Coaching Staff. His son, #1 Judd Lewis, is a freshman defensive back and wide receiver for the Flyers!
Coach Lewis has been putting in great work with our defensive backs, and we look forward to having lockdown coverage this season!

We continue the staff announcements today with Coach Steve Pace! Coach Pace oversees our offensive & defensive lines. This is his second season on the Flyers Football Coaching Staff. His son, #44 Shelton Pace, is a senior running back and line backer on the Flyers Football Team!
We are looking forward to having a great line on both sides of the ball this season!

Today’s staff announcement is Coach Landon Goss! Coach Goss coaches our Running Backs and Linebackers. This is his second season on the Flyers Football Coaching Staff.
Coach Goss played as a Running Back and Linebacker during his career & is a valuable asset to our coaching staff!

Today we continue our 2026 staff announcements with Coach Anthony Adams! Coach Adams is our Special Teams Coordinator and this is his first season on the Flyers Football coaching staff. His son, #39 Caleb Adams, is a sophomore on the team this season.
Special Teams was a huge struggle for the Flyers last season. Which makes us even more excited to have Coach Adams on staff!

Here is our new & improved 2026 Varsity Football Schedule! We now play Unity Christian Academy on August 21st at their place in Greenville.
8/21’s start time is 7:30 PM!
ALL OTHER game times are 7:00 PM!
ALL HOME GAMES will be played on Warrior Field at Bailey Stadium on the campus of East Central Community College!
