For Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking real estate professionals, accent coaching can make a real difference in how confidently and clearly they communicate with clients.
Over the years I have coached many Spanish and Real Estate professionals to speak clearer, more effective English. Both of my parents were real estate brokers so I know this business. I understand the vocabulary and the sales strategies.
When your English is easier to understand, clients can focus on your knowledge and recommendations instead of working to follow your words.
In real estate, clearer communication can build stronger trust, create better client relationships, and help turn more conversations into opportunities.
Find out how a few hours of coaching can take your English closer to the closing zone.

Most of my students are Spanish or Portuguese speakers - and many of them work in the Real Estate industry. I have had real estate agents from Brazil, Cuba, Colombia and Honduras. Real estate investors, a real estate Podcaster and a real estate accountant.
All with the same goal - to speak clearer more effective English.
I relate with realtors - my parents were both real estate brokers and I understand the business: the vocabulary, the sales techniques and the buying process. Plus, I love talking about it so the classes are fun for me as well.
If you are a Spanish or Portuguese speaking real estate professional wanting to sound better to native speaking clients - give me a call.

For Spanish and. Portuguese speakers misplacing word stress is a common problem. “Is it the house—or the SMALL house?” stressing house may sound natural, but if the size is the important choice.
English listeners expect: “I want the SMALL house.” The adjective receives the spotlight because it carries the new or contrasting information. Without that shift, your words may be correct, but your real meaning can get lost.
Accent coaching helps you master the “music” of English—stress, rhythm, and intonation—so listeners hear not only your words, but exactly what you mean.

After a recent session with a Cuban-born accountant, Zoom Outcomes reported that she “demonstrated measurable improvement in sentence rhythm and intonation by the end of the session, particularly with multi-word financial phrases.”
This is exactly why I teach the “Music” of English: when professionals learn to use natural rhythm, stress, and intonation, even complex terms such as accounts receivable, budget variance, and financial statements become clearer, more confident, and easier for clients and colleagues to understand.

After a few weeks of coaching I always ask my students if they see a difference in their speech. The first comment is usually, "I feel more confident when speaking English".
Having perfect grammar doesn't automatically translate into effective communication. Few of us native speakers have mastered perfect grammar.
What most of us have mastered is the "Music". Pausing between idea groups, putting right stress on a sentence to convey the real meaning, stressing adjectives and adverbs properly. That is what makes the difference.
I had a student yesterday tell me, after two weeks of classes, "I was listening to my Gr**go husband speak. I found myself not listening to the words but to the "Music". You are right! I can hear it!"

Don’t Let Your Sentence Run Out of Gas!
Many professionals do not lose their listeners at the beginning of a sentence. They lose them during the final two seconds.
Many Spanish and Portuguese speakers begin an English sentence clearly but lose energy at the end—especially when the final word contains difficult consonants or clusters.
A word like “results”may become “resul…” because the final T-S combination is easy to weaken or drop.
Unfortunately, English often places the most important information at the end of the sentence, so an unclear ending can make a confident professional sound uncertain or incomplete.
Strong sentence endings create clearer English, stronger authority, and greater confidence—because your message should arrive at its destination with fuel still in the tank!
Here’s a tip: Record yourself speaking for thirty seconds. Are your sentence endings as clear and confident as your beginnings? That small adjustment can create a very big professional difference.

Mastering the use of "THAT" can make a big difference in your English.
Here's why:
In English, THAT is often stressed when it points back to a whole idea that was just mentioned. It is not just a small grammar word. It works like a verbal arrow.
For example: “We lost the account. THAT was disappointing.”
The word THAT points back to the entire situation: losing the account. When you stress it, your listener understands, “This whole idea is important.”
This is part of the “music” of English: stress, rhythm, and meaning working together. Small words can carry big meaning—and THAT makes a big difference..
