Formada originalmente en 1995 en Cali, Colombia, actualmente activa en Estados Unidos, la banda ha forjado un legado arraigado en la autenticidad underground, fusionando la agresividad del death metal clásico con elementos atmosféricos y melódicos.
A lo largo de su carrera, Misty Fate ha compartido escenario con bandas icónicas como Masacre, Master, Behemoth, Nile y Deicide , realizando giras por Sudamérica y Estados Unidos.
