Orlando's UrbanFest 360 hosted independent filmmakers, screenwriters, and music producers, with a special tribute to Chadwick Boseman. The Local had the honor of sponsoring the event and held a powerful panel session for our local members.
Our panel, “SAG-AFTRA 101: Contracts, Stunts, and Everything In Between – An Actor’s Toolkit,” delivered real talk and real tools. 💪⚒️ Moderated by Carol C. Bailey and featuring Shellita Boxie, Jim Coleman, Avis-Marie Barnes and Alexander Hernández, the conversation covered union benefits, contract literacy, on-set safety and how the Miami Local supports every step of the way!
