celebrates both ancestral and contemporary instruments. Recently, we brought the handpan to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where the live performance was broadcast through Seacrest Studios to patient rooms and across the hospital. Sharing music with patients, families, and staff. This reflects our mission to bring instruments and culture to schools, community spaces, and places of care where music can make a difference. For this performance, I played my Majesty Handpan. Thank you to and . Moving Music Museum, bringing music where it matters.
It was truly inspiring to share this moment with the Arts for Learning Board, a group of talented and accomplished people whose commitment to arts, culture, and education goes beyond personal success. There’s something beautiful about choosing to give back, joining forces to create opportunities and inspire the next generation.
Honored to share the soulful voice of my Sela Percussion Majesty Handpan with the board of Arts for Learning/ Miami , an organization I’ve had the privilege of working with for nearly fifteen years, and one that has deeply shaped my journey as a teaching artist. Deeply grateful to Arts for Learning for years of trust and opportunities, and to Sela Percussion for their endorsement and continued support.
