Healthy Greek Yogurt Monkey Bread

Dough

* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
* 2 tsp baking powder
* ½ tsp salt
* 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

Cinnamon coating

* 3 tbsp melted butter
* ⅓ cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
* 2 tsp cinnamon

Optional glaze

* ½ cup Greek yogurt
* 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
* ½ tsp vanilla
* Splash of milk if needed

Instructions

1. Make the dough: Mix flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms. If it’s very sticky, add flour 1 tablespoon at a time. Don’t overwork it.
2. Divide the dough into about 25–30 small pieces and roll each into a ball.
3. Mix the coconut sugar and cinnamon together.
4. Dip each dough ball lightly in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
5. Place the balls into a greased Bundt pan, layering them as you go.
6. Bake at 350°F for about 30–35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Let it cool for about 10 minutes, then carefully invert onto a plate.
8. Drizzle with the Greek-yogurt glaze.

To make it even more protein-packed

use vanilla protein powder , you could replace ¼ cup of the flour with vanilla protein powder. You may need a tablespoon or two of extra Greek yogurt if the dough seems dry.

My favorite version: add a little vanilla + cinnamon to the dough and toss some diced strawberries or blueberries into the layers. It would be amazing for a Saturday morning breakfast.

God wants to come to us and restore our lives. He really does, but if our soul is not well, it’s almost impossible to receive him. Dry, scorched ground can’t absorb the very rain it needs.

The world may be harsh, but God is gentle, he knows what your life is like. What we need to do is put ourselves in places that allow us to receive his help. - John Eldredge

Sometimes we just need to rest, step outside, breathe deeply, and remember how good God is.

There is something so peaceful about getting outside and enjoying what He created. Put down the phone, take the hike, breathe in the fresh air, and thank God for the beauty around you.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” — Psalm 19:1

Get outside. Slow down. Notice His creation. And let your soul breathe.

Today is a hard one. ❤️

I started homeschooling last year. Two of my three kids wanted to be homeschooled, and I truly felt like God was calling me to it.

Homeschooling has been hard, but it has also been one of the most rewarding seasons of my life. The time together, the freedom, the little moments, and most importantly, getting to teach my kids about Christ and remind them that we can learn and see all things through Him.

Then, just one week before school started, my youngest told me she wanted to try public school again with her big sister. This time, she would be starting middle school.

My heart sank. My immediate response was, “No.” I knew how much she loved homeschooling and being home with me. Honestly, I wasn’t ready to let go.

But then I saw her little shoulders sink.

I told her I would pray about it, and she told me she already had.

It took me a few days to process, but God kept nudging my heart to let her make this choice. She may love it. She may hate it. She may decide homeschooling is where she wants to be again. But I knew if I didn’t let her try, she might always wonder what could have been.

So today, I watched my baby walk away for a full day of school and practice afterward.

And I cried.

You don’t fully realize how precious time with your children is until you’ve had so much of it and then suddenly, there are hours when they aren’t there.

I’m incredibly grateful I still have my son home with me. I don’t want to miss the gift right in front of me because I’m grieving this change. I’m going to soak up every ordinary homeschool day we have together.

But today, the house feels different, and my mama heart hurts.

Still, I know this: my children have never belonged to me. They belong to God.

I can love them, guide them, pray for them, and teach them, but ultimately, they are in His hands.

So today, I’m letting go a little, praying a lot, soaking up the child who is still home, and trusting God with my girls who walked away this morning. Wherever they go, He goes with them. 🤍

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.” — Psalm 37:5

My daughter took this photo of me without me knowing… and honestly, I look a little grouchy. 😂

And if I’m being honest, I’ve been feeling that way lately.

I’ve been realizing that my plans don’t always go the way I want them to—especially when I’m trying to hold onto them instead of giving them to God first.

And my body has been feeling it, too. Our bodies keep the score. It’s amazing what can happen physically when we live in a state of stress, worry, frustration, and trying to control things we were never meant to control.

Sometimes I get frustrated. Sometimes I’m hard on myself. Sometimes I say things about myself that I know the Lord would never say about me.

But Jesus paid the price for me. He didn’t call me to live weighed down by shame, frustration, or fear. He wants me to have joy, even when life doesn’t look the way I thought it would.

And honestly, the troubles I’m facing are small compared to what so many people are carrying right now. That perspective reminds me to be grateful, to pray, and to surrender.

Maybe this grouchy picture is actually a good reminder: I don’t have to have everything figured out. I don’t have to control every outcome. I just need to keep giving it back to God.

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7

Lord, help me trust You with my plans, my circumstances, my body, and even the way I see myself. Replace my stress with peace, my frustration with gratitude, and my striving with surrender.

Because sometimes the strongest thing we can do is let go and let God. ❤️

Today, I’m choosing joy—not because everything is perfect, but because Jesus is still good.
