AcoustiCafe

MONDAY OCT 5, 2026 - WYEP 91.3 and Straub Brewing Presents: AcoustiCafe Open Stage - with hosts Eric & Jesse ft Fablespout & Roshnii!!!!

THEME: MOAR CHAOS!
Eric & Jesse really liked Shawn's Chaos theme - so we're bringing it back with some tweaks. More (moar) chaos set suggestions - I loved the puppets, the shadow puppet ventriloquist and the 'lit only by phones' ones - please add your own suggestions! Rolling for a chaos slot is totally optional - just fun for us.

And speaking of fun for us, for our host set we will each pick a local artist's song at random from the AC charts app and perform it with the house band. So make sure your songs are in there at https:://charts.acousticafe.org

FABLESPOUT:
Following an excellent set at the Government Center last Wedneday - we really wanted everyone at AC to get a nice extended feature for Fablespout, as we normally only get to hear a single song from them, but these songs deserve a little space to stretch out and sprawl! Listen at https://fablespout.bandcamp.com/album/family-lines and follow at on IG!

ROSHNII:
Who says AI is bad?!? - look at this awesome inclusion when you google 'Roshnii music Pittsburgh'!
• Debut Single: She released her debut single, "Divine", which is available across major streaming platforms.
• Live Sessions: She recorded a featured live performance of "Divine" at the local Pittsburgh creative space Haven PGH for The Blossom Sessions (Episode 018).
• Local Events: She is an active participant in the Pittsburgh indie music community, notably hosting the long-running local open mic AcoustiCafe Open Stage at Mr. Smalls Theatre.

NOTABLY!!! WOOHOO!! Follow at .music on IG
SNOWBALLS of LOVE: Everyone is asked to support the artists you enjoy by throwing Snowballs of Love at the stage (in addition to applause) to show how much you love your friends on stage. Plus it looks cool on the livestream - which happens thanks to the equally cool Wes Mason Media!

COMPLIMENTS aka MMHMMs
Named for the extrabrachioliped Amy Mmhmm - We will have a compliment box in the green room where you can drop Mmhmm's and they will be delivered (spoken from the stage) to performers through the evening! Think of it as a single, well-aimed SNOWBALL OF LOVE

An example: "Amy somehow captured the actual souls of Eric and Jesse in the photo used in this event's banner 🙂"

MONDAY SEP 28, 2026 - WYEP 91.3 and Straub Brewing Presents: AcoustiCafe Open Stage - with host Jerome Boone ft Johnny Traficante & Jeff Miller!!!

THEME. SEASONS CHANGE
The Autumnal Equinox has passed, Summer is over (boo!) Fall is here (yay!)

JEROME BOONE is hosting AC for his first time! We've really been digging Jerome's comedy sets since he started performing regularly at AC this past year - psyched for the host set! Catch Jerome on 9/30 at Story Time @ Happenstance Cafe and 10/2 One Liner Madness @ Spirit. Follow on IG for more

JOHNNY TRAFICANTE - A master of the obvious. Comic and Lounge Lizard - will also be performing at the Wed 9/30 Story Time! Follow at on IG

Touring feature JEFF MILLER - always awesome to have Jeff make a stop at AcoustiCafe while on tour from Nashville, ahead of show (also 9/30!) at the Rock'n'Bowl at Arsenal Lanes in Lawrenceville before heading out for more concerts and house shows in OH, WV, MD and lots of other two-initialed places! More info at https://jeffmilleronline.com
[edited to add] Jeff Miller @ Refucilo W**e on Saturday, 10/3

An example: "Jerome Boone rolled so smoothly with Shawn MacIntyre's heckling and distractions (hence 'boo' and 'yay' references in the theme) during his set at the AC Chaos show, like it was all part of the bit."
