2 weeks ago we hosted our first ever coffee rave w/ Ninth Street !⚽️
We love coffee & EDM and are doing our best to support both local scenes.🙌🏼
We’re still new to this, but we’re doing our best to make sure everyone has a good time whether it’s their first show or their 100th.🎉
Thank you so much to everyone who showed up that day. It means the absolute world to us. You remind us that there are people out there who have our back while we spend countless hours behind the scenes making these things happen. On the tough days, you’re the ones who keep us going.
I love you all so so much. Thank you for being there. Cheers to good memories & many more to come.☕️🍻

2 days out from hosting our first maker’s market ever!🎉
Today’s spotlight goes to Sam from Passion Project Coffee !🫘
Sam & I have been sharing recommendations with each other for almost 5 years now! She’s always been very passionate (woah) about coffee from how it’s made, the different ingredients added to the drinks, & the environment it’s served in. She saved up & started up her own brand-roasting her own beans, pulling her own shots, & as of recently started selling pastries as well!☕️🤔💭
Come stop by on Saturday to support us!! :)
Where: Ninth Street 801 SE 9th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55414 📍

We’ve listened to you the community, other vendors, & the staff themselves. Wild Grind was a place that brought us together. It gave so many of us more than coffee or beer—it gave us a place to connect & see familiar faces every month.😌
Next Saturday, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER we’re hoping to recreate that experience with our friends at Ninth Street by throwing a market of our own. Come grab a coffee, support local makers, and catch up with friends old and new!!🎉🎉🎉

📰THE SCOOP🗞️
• Elixirs Soft open: September 9th, 2025
• Drinks inspired by Alice in Wonderland
Imagine Kilby Girl playing, plants from Sailer’s Greenhouse surrounding you, beans from Edina Coffee Roasters being ground, and neighbors catching up over coffee. The dark wood, leather seating, and cozy library make this one of those spaces that naturally invites you to stay awhile.
On Wednesday I had the chance to chat with owner Emily Johnson & hear the story behind Curiouser.🏡🛠️
Emily originally planned to pursue medicine but realized she could make a bigger impact through hospitality. Curiouser began inside a food hall during COVID, they tried a new concept with the Conservatory on April 2023, & last September they opened Elixirs.🧪
The Elixirs project came together on a tight budget—and just five days before the soft opening they unexpectedly gained a second room. Emily thrifted furniture and plants, then turned to the community for help. People showed up with trinkets, décor, and totes full of books, creating the welcoming library you’ll find today.
Before coffee, Emily worked behind the bar at Half Barrel Whiskey Bar and Volstead’s, learning under founder Tony Donatell. She discovered that bartending and coffee have more in common than people think: crafting drinks, managing the rush, and creating memorable experiences. Her philosophy is simple: whether it’s someone’s first stop of the day or where they come to unwind after work, hospitality means making people feel seen and cared for.📝🍸☕️
Words of Wisdom From Emily: “Never think you have to do it by yourself. There will always be people willing to help—build your network and lean on your community.” 🧠
