Most days, Lena helps me measure headbands and make sure everything is the size it should be. Today, she is helping me plan the next quarter of Magical Lemonz.
One of the biggest ways I have grown as a business owner is learning to think beyond what I want to make right now. I am starting to think more intentionally about what I want to bring you for the next season.
What colors make sense for the season? What styles would you be excited to wear or buy for your little ones? What pieces still feel like Magical Lemonz while also being something you will actually want?
There is a lot more planning behind the scenes now than there used to be, and I really love seeing that growth.
So today it is me, my planner, and Lena figuring out what is coming next. 🍋✨

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! 🍂

Living in Alabama means it’s hot for the majority of the year, so when October finally rolls around and things start cooling off, I am READY for it. 😂

October through early April is when Jake and I do most of our adventuring, exploring, and little day trips. It’s also my favorite time of year to go to the beach!

There’s just something about sitting on the beach when it’s cool outside, then bundling up in a sweater and ear warmer once the sun starts going down. 🥰

Give me cool weather, a little adventure, and somewhere pretty to explore and I’m happy.

Would you believe me if I told you I don’t normally wear the hair ribbons I make—or even scrunchies? 😂

One thing that is really important to me is being authentic, so I’m not going to pretend I wear every accessory I create every single day.

I have very thick, wavy hair, and ponytails and messy buns don’t always work well for me. Most days, you’ll find my hair pulled up with a claw clip because it puts less tension on my hair and is just more comfortable.

I do wear my hair ribbons when I pull my hair into a higher, tighter messy bun, and I use scrunchies when I’m pulling my hair back to do my skincare. But you probably won’t catch me running to the grocery store wearing either one. 😂

And that’s okay—because I mainly create these hair accessories for you.

For the busy woman or mom who loves having her hair up and out of her face, but still wants to make a basic ponytail or bun feel a little more put together.

Sometimes you just need a little something pretty to dress up the everyday. 💛

I’m working today to finally get my entire bag of almost finished items completely ready for photos. 🙃

Weaving in ends is definitely not my favorite part of crocheting, but if I want to keep creating new things, I need to finish what I’ve already made first!

So today’s goal: weave in the ends, get everything photo-ready, and start getting these pieces added to the website. 🧶✨

I really didn’t think this color was going to be one people would choose, but I already had it in my yarn stash and thought it would look so pretty as a Vivian Baby Hat. So, of course, I had to make a few!
And I’m so glad I did because Thembi purchased one for her cousin. 💕
