We’re grateful to the local businesses helping us make this event possible!

These precious puppies are in a local shelter, and we would love to save them. They are approximately 12 weeks old and weigh roughly 10 pounds. We have no clue what breed they are because the shelter has never seen the parents, but we think they will be medium size dogs when full grown. We need fosters or fosters to adopt in order to help. If you are interested, please complete the application listed below

Darby has a nose for adventure and a very reliable dinner clock! This five-year-old hound mix loves long walks with plenty of sniff stops, enjoys runs, and has started joining in games of chase with her foster family and their dogs at the park. After some exercise, she’s happy to settle beside her favorite people for couch time, pets, and cuddles.

Smart and food motivated, Darby is learning sit, stay, come, and focus. Her leash manners are coming along nicely, and she’s done great with crate training. A treat-filled Kong or flavored Nylabone keeps her happy, too. She’ll head to the door when she needs to go out—and paw her bowl when she thinks dinner service is running behind!

Darby is sweet and affectionate once she’s comfortable, and she appreciates people who respect her space. She’d do best with adults or older children who understand dog boundaries. She gets along with most dogs after proper introductions and is making progress with positive reinforcement. She chases cats, so a home without cats would be her best fit.

Looking for a running buddy who also appreciates a quiet evening on the couch? Darby is available for adoption through Krewe de Rescue and ready to find her person!

🚨 WRINKLE ALERT!!! 🚨
We are hoping to help a full shelter again by finding these babies foster homes! Can anyone foster these 7-8 week old puppies? Their breed is unknown. Tan is male, all others are female.
If you can foster one or more, please fill out an application listed in the comments.

LOOK AT THOSE WRINKLES!!!

Friends of the Mobile Animal Shelter is starting their vaccine clinics again today. Annual DAPP vaccines are free and rabies is only $15.

This cutie is in a local shelter. She is only one year old and weighs approximately 10 pounds. Life has not been good to her. She looks much older and could stand to gain a few pounds. According to the shelter staff, she is a sweet and calm girl. If you can provide a safe and loving place for this girl, please complete our foster application. She can be adopted as soon as all vetting is complete.
