We wanted to do something fun and special for the kids this Christmas, so we’re turning our Reaching For Revival Christmas Coloring Page into a CONTEST! ❤️📚

We will be choosing 10 WINNERS, and each winner will receive a fun Christmas prize! 🎁🎅

There’s no perfect way to color it! We want the kids to get creative, use their favorite colors and make our Christmas design completely their own.

🖍️ Have your child color and decorate it however they want!

✍️ On the back, please write their first name, age, and ONE small, inexpensive item they would really like from Santa this year. 🎅🎁 You never know what Santa’s helpers at Reaching For Revival might be able to do! ❤️

Busy week, full boxes, and lots of little adventures waiting to find new homes. 📚✨

Today was one of those days that reminds us exactly why Reaching for Revival exists.

With another incredible book donation drop-off now complete, we just want to take a moment to say **thank you** from the bottom of our hearts.

Every single book that was donated represents so much more than paper and ink. It represents imagination, hope, adventure, comfort, learning, and opportunity. It represents a child discovering their favorite story for the very first time, a family reading together before bed, or someone finding an escape through the pages of a good book.

To every individual, family, business, and supporter who has donated books, shared our posts, encouraged our mission, or simply believed in what we're trying to accomplish... **thank you.** You are the reason we are able to continue reaching communities all across Michigan.

When Katie and I started Reaching for Revival, we never imagined just how many amazing people would rally behind this mission. What started as a simple idea has grown into something much bigger than ourselves, and it's because of people like you.

These books won't be sitting on shelves collecting dust. They'll be finding new homes in Free Little Libraries, going to children who may not have books of their own, helping families build home libraries, and spreading literacy one neighborhood at a time.

There is something incredibly powerful about a community coming together to invest in children. Every donated book plants a seed. It inspires creativity, encourages learning, builds confidence, and reminds kids that someone they've never even met believes in them.

We also want to extend a special thank you to everyone who continues to think of us whenever they're cleaning out bookshelves, attending garage sales, visiting thrift stores, or simply stumbling across books they know could make a difference. Those small acts of kindness add up in ways you may never fully realize.

People often ask us how they can help. The answer is simple:

We are so grateful to share that Reaching for Revival was able to donate well over 300 children’s books to Mott Children’s Hospital, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community.

This is what community is truly about—giving from the heart with a simple purpose: sharing the love of reading with children and families who need it most.

Paisley and Brantley were so excited to help drop the books off and be part of something so meaningful. Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do.

Took a little trip to White Park and loaded this little book box up with some kids’ books 📚✨ Even managed to score a gem for myself too — because who can resist a good Toni Morrison find? 🙌

I grew up on a quiet dirt road in Dexter, Michigan, where I spent so many days just walking and thinking.

Coming back now feels like stepping into a memory—with something new added along the way. Today, the kids and I stopped to leave a few books at a beautiful little spot that wasn’t there before.

Some things change, but that feeling never really does. Happy reading 📚

📚 Exciting news, neighbors! The Curtiss family has set up a Little Free Library, and it’s officially open!

You can find it at 3494 Vermont Court, right by the bus stop in the courts.

Take a book, leave a book, or just stop by and browse—everyone is welcome. We hope it brings a little extra joy to our neighborhood! 💛
