She’s about 16lbs, chihuahua mix from Mexico. We don’t know much about her back story but she’s come along way from being terrified and shut down to making friends with everyone she meets.

She’s dog and cat friendly.

Guerro went camping this weekend and absolutely LIVED his best life. He met kids, hung out in the camper, went hiking, and loved every second of it.

He’s about 2 years old, housebroken, crate trained, great with dogs AND kids… and honestly, we think he’s the perfect dog.

❤️ Meet Molly — the girl who just needed someone to choose her.

Molly’s story started heartbreakingly — she was tied to a tree by her previous owner.*Yet somehow, she still loves people with her whole heart.

This 2-year-old Pit Bull mix is sweet, calm, loving, and a total cuddle bug. Give her two seconds to greet you and she’ll flop onto her back for belly rubs! 😂

She loves walks, hikes, swimming, toys, car rides, and following her people around. She’s fully housebroken and ready to be someone’s loyal companion.

Molly is being fostered in the Sacramento area, outside our usual foster radius. But her story pulled at our hearts, and we couldn’t turn away.

Her hobbies include soaking up the sun like she pays the electric bill, supervising household activities from the couch, and generally being adorable.

The Misfit Ranch received an incredibly generous donation from the Canyon Lake Junior Women's Club, and we honestly cannot put into words what it means to us.

We have been going through an especially difficult stretch at the rescue. The needs keep coming. The vet bills keep coming. The food, supplies, boarding, medications and everything else these dogs need doesn’t stop just because donations slow down.

This donation came at a time when we truly needed it.

It helped carry us through a hard moment and reminded us that we aren’t doing this alone.
