If you want results different than most people, you must train different than most. Our style is more mentally engaging for the canine, teaching them that being aware in itself, leads to the reward.

The more structure and discipline you teach your dog, the less effort it takes to handle them. Ask yourself, would you rather be yanked around, or enjoy a pleasant stroll with man's best friend? 2 fingers, that's all it should take

Perfect example!
Notice how he already has his eyes on my hands when I point and show where I want him. And then we reward with praise instead of treats. Slowly transitioning towards this, as opposed to always rewarding with food, keeps them focused and motivated.

THIS!!!
This is how you get your dog to listen to you more than they listen to food!

Part 5 with Tank!

here's how we start translating "Where's the treat" to "Where should I be focused".
We condition the dog to keep an eye on our body language and use our hands to guide them.

Another example of how to USE TREATS instead of letting your dog USE YOU!!!
He has to work for the treat, and him processing what he has to do to release it, works wonders down the line.

Treats are tools! Especially with a dog this young with such a sporadic attention span, they work incredibly well to initially mark the desired behavior. We'll go into how to ween them off the treats in one of our next videos.

Gang, say hello to one of our newest stars, Tank!
At only 7 months old, Tanks been showing great progress.
