Did your AC suddenly shut off? It might not be as serious as you think.
In Naples, our air conditioners remove a tremendous amount of moisture from the air. That moisture drains through a small condensate line — and when that line becomes clogged with algae or debris, your AC’s safety switch may shut the entire system down.
The good news? What looks like a major AC failure could sometimes be a relatively simple problem.
Our latest blog explains why AC drain lines clog, what a float switch does, the warning signs homeowners should watch for, and how regular maintenance can help prevent water damage and unexpected shutdowns.
At Florida Comfort Systems, our NATE-Certified technicians don’t work on commission. We diagnose the problem first and recommend only what your system actually needs.
