As she wraps up her summer with Springpoint, we're celebrating Kyra Clark and the enthusiasm she brought to our IT team through the Tomorrow's Leaders Program.
A computer science student at UConn, Kyra spent the summer gaining hands-on IT experience, exploring the technology that powers our communities, and building meaningful connections with team members across the organization. Along the way, she strengthened her technical skills, expanded her professional experience, and gained valuable insight into the role technology plays in supporting older adults.
This opportunity was made possible through Tomorrow's Leaders, Springpoint's paid internship program supported by the Springpoint Foundation. Through this investment in emerging talent, the Foundation helps provide students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences while building the next generation of leaders in aging services.
Thank you, Kyra, for spending your summer with us. We wish you all the best as you continue your studies and pursue your career in technology!

A group of our student interns recently came together for a mid-summer meetup to reflect on their experiences, share what they’ve learned, and connect with one another.
What stood out most? Their enthusiasm. They discussed how meaningful their work has been, how welcomed they’ve felt by their teams, and how their experiences have given them a new perspective on senior living. From gaining hands-on experience to building relationships with residents and exploring different career paths, their feedback reminds us why investing in the next generation matters.
This year, we’re proud to welcome 36 students from 18 universities and four community colleges across Springpoint. Through programs like these, supported in part by the Springpoint Foundation, we’re creating meaningful opportunities that help develop the future workforce in aging services.
Thank you to all of our interns for bringing your curiosity, fresh perspectives, and commitment to Springpoint—we’re excited to see what the rest of your journies bring!
Stay tuned… our Springpoint student interns are onto something exciting!! We had a highly productive mid-summer meetup this week. It’s so inspiring to hear about their experiences and what this opportunity means as they take the next steps in their careers.
We’re so proud to support the next generation of leaders in senior living!

National Culinary Arts Month has been full of fresh flavors at Monroe Village! 🍑🍝
Residents recently enjoyed two delicious cooking demonstrations, learning to prepare a refreshing summer peach and plum dish with Chef Carlton from Morrison Living and a colorful, veggie-packed Pasta Primavera with Chef James from Chefs for Seniors (complete with his signature fresh bread from Brooklyn!).
From seasonal ingredients to new recipes, these culinary experiences bring residents together while celebrating healthy living and the joy of cooking.
