The Springpoint Foundation was proud to join the Monmouth Collective, the Stone Foundation, and Two River Theater for the 3rd Annual Monmouth Night Out in Red Bank!

The special evening brought together Monmouth Collective members, colleagues, and guests for dinner and a performance of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson. We were especially delighted to have several residents from The Atrium At Navesink Harbor join us for an evening filled with fellowship, culture, and community.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow nonprofit partners, strengthen relationships, and enjoy an outstanding theatrical performance together.

The Springpoint Foundation is grateful to be part of such an inspiring network of nonprofit leaders who are committed to making a difference throughout Monmouth County.

Healthy aging starts with having access to the resources and information that help us take care of ourselves.

Stafford by the Bay recently hosted a Health Fair, bringing together local and county organizations to provide residents with valuable health resources and screenings—all right in their own community.

Residents had the opportunity to receive a variety of screenings—including blood pressure, bone density and hearing—while connecting with organizations and learning more about services available to support their health and well-being.

Events like this are especially meaningful in affordable housing communities, where bringing accessible health and wellness resources directly to older adults can help remove barriers to care and support residents in staying healthy, independent and connected.

Thank you to all of the vendors and partners who helped make this such a successful event—and to the Stafford by the Bay team for creating an opportunity for residents to prioritize their health!

For more than a decade, LivWell has been helping residents in Springpoint’s Life Plan Communities live stronger, healthier, and more connected lives. Now, we’re bringing that same impact to more residents in our affordable housing communities.

What began in four affordable housing communities in 2021 now reaches more than 350 residents across 11 communities. Expanding LivWell means more older adults—regardless of income—can access opportunities that support their physical, social and emotional well-being.

With support from the Springpoint Foundation and generous partners like Parker Health Group we’re proud to expand the reach of a program that has made such a difference for residents across Springpoint.

Five Years of LivWell: Empowering Springpoint Affordable Housing Residents to Live Well For five years, LivWell, Springpoint’s signature whole-person wellness program, has been helping residents in affordable housing build strength, improve mobility, foster meaningful connections, and live healthier, more engaged lives.

As summer comes to a close, we’re celebrating the seven interns who participated in Springpoint’s Tomorrow’s Leaders Program this year!

Through hands-on experiences across Springpoint communities and departments, these emerging professionals gained valuable insight into the senior living field—and they had nothing but positive things to say about their experiences. We’re especially proud that several have accepted positions with Springpoint following their internships.

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program is funded and supported by the Springpoint Foundation, whose investment in workforce development helps create meaningful opportunities for the next generation of senior living professionals. By supporting programs like Tomorrow’s Leaders, the Foundation is helping strengthen the future of our workforce and, ultimately, the future of senior living.

Six weeks of learning, connection, and community—and now graduation is just around the corner!

The Senior Citizen Police Academy at Plainfield Tower West is coming to a close, and the impact goes beyond the lessons learned. Through their time with local police, firefighters, and emergency management professionals, 15 resident cadets have built relationships, asked questions, gained valuable safety knowledge, and become more connected to the community around them.

For Executive Director Sandra Pettiford, one of the most rewarding parts has been seeing residents become more engaged and confident in accessing local resources—and building relationships with their “local heroes.”
