Cruised the bay for 6hrs today. We found a few, CJ wrangled his first cobia ever! Later on had a double up opportunity and capitalized. Unfortunately all just a few inches short to box. Still a fun day on the water regardless!

Quick father and son trip mid day. Found the blues pretty thick and kept a few for dinner.

Pods, pods, and more pods. We had Jacob’s crew the past 2 days and the fishing did not disappoint. Double digit cobias both days with nonstop action! It’s great out there right now! We have a few dates left in September. Cobia season goes out September 20th.

Jimmy and his daughter took a ride with us today and ended up 7 for 11 on cobias. To top it off the weather was as pretty as it gets!

BIG COBIA ACTION in the Chesapeake bay. Great day on the water with @bayboundcharters It was a grind for the first few hours hitting every bait ball we found with no results, and even a snapped line on the first hookup. Our guide, Captain Trey Dunavant absolutely worked his ass off to get us on some beastly fish. This guy knows whats up, and he’s definitely the one to call if you need an expert fishing guide in the 757 Virginia area! These Cobia are heavy monsters that peeeeel drag. A hell of a fight and a bucket list fish crossed off for me.
