Finally finished another project!

Whew! It's been quite a year so far! Wedding planning, honeymooning, 100°+ days, now coming down with Covid. On the mend and getting back into working on some projects: repairing a piano stool, building a picture frame with barrel head shelves, and a hanging propagation shelf for some glass flowers.

"Why is it so cold, I thought the garage was insulated..."

The shop will be on a brief hiatus while I get my shop correctly insulated. Gotta unplug the eaves vents, put insulation in the walls, put baffles on the roof deck and insulate the roof. I'm freezing my toes off out here!

Been a minute and I forgot to get some good final shots of the finished product but the coffee table was finished for Christmas! Here are some pics from start to finish. Really happy with how this turned out.

Bourbon barrel coffee table update: all the separate pieces are on their last coat of finish, then it's time to assemble. Coming in just under the wire for Christmas!

Second coat of finish on the easel! Gonna need a couple more coats but it's looking great!

The barrel stave easel is almost finished up! Just needs a final sanding and polyurethane. Pardon the mess!

Easel and coffee table updates: easel legs glued and fastened together and coffee table barrel finally sanded

Starting on two projects for Christmas! First one will be an art easel (staves picked and sanded) and the second will be a coffee table! I also have some single and double "anti-gravity" wine bottle holders available, great for sticking stuffers!
