Meet Tami Lawal! 🥳 Tami is a junior information systems major, and she works as one of our service associates. After being a part of our team for seven months, her favorite part of the job has been never being able to predict what customers will need assistance with; she believes that's what keeps the job both fun and challenging! Her favorite memory at Illinois State was when everyone was on the Quad watching the solar eclipse two years ago, and she recalls the Wi-Fi being very slow that day. Some fun facts about Tami are that her laptop is her favorite piece of tech, and she is a photographer! 💻 📸 Outside of work, Tami is a member of a few on-campus student orgs: Photography Club, Girl Gains, Women in Technology, and the African Student Association. When she's at home, she loves to cook her favorite dish, jollof pasta, a Nigerian-inspired dish! 🍝 Thank you for all your hard work, Tami!

Say hi to Rasha, this week's featured student! 😊 Rasha is a junior majoring in information systems, and she has worked as one of our service associates since this past August. Her favorite parts of the job are her coworkers and when restarting someone's computer actually fixes the problem! Her favorite Illinois State memories have been Homecoming weekend every year. Some fun facts about Rasha are that her favorite piece of tech is her sunrise alarm clock, and she used to train in Olympic-style weightlifting for a short period! 🏋️‍♀️ Outside of work, she is the vice president of Girl Gains and the Muslim Student Association, and she is also an active member of Women in Technology, all student-led organizations on campus. The best dishes she can cook are any breakfast dishes! 🍳🥞 We love having Rasha on our team!

Say hello to Michael Johnson, this week's featured student! 😊 Michael is a sophomore technology and engineering education major, and he's worked at TechZone for eight months as one of our sales associates. His favorite part of the job is helping new students choose their laptops at the beginning of the year! His favorite piece of tech is his PlayStation, and when he's not playing video games, he's jamming out on his drum set. 🎮🥁 Outside of work, Michael is the president of his on-campus student organization, TEECA (Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association).
