Hi, I’m Mary Pat! I am a senior music education major and the social media chair for KDP. I am also a Golden Apple Scholar and participated in STEP-UP this past summer. Two fun facts about me are that I have a pet turtle and I am Chipotle’s #1 customer!

I’m Shannon Rogers, Vice President. I am a Middle Level ed major with endorsements in Social Studies and ESL. I’m from Peoria and I live there with my boyfriend, Kyle, and our son, Chance. On campus I am also a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success and involved with Alternative Breaks. I love to travel and I am the youngest of 10 kids!

Hi everyone my name is Savi Valle and I am Co-President of KDP! I am an Art Education major working on a minor in Art History. When I am not at school I go back to my hometown of Oak Park, IL. Besides KDP I am a member of the National Honors Society, National Art Education Association (NAEA), SILICA (ISUs ceramics student organization) and loved volunteering with Illinois Art Station. I love to learn new languages and go on adventures whenever I can! :)

I’m Matt and I’m one of the co-presidents of KDP. I’m a junior and a secondary math Ed major with an endorsement in computer science. I’m also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and you can catch me working with the student event staff at sporting events for ISU. I’m also a huge fan of the Blackhawks!

Bloomington Normal Community members: We are looking to plant a neighborhood library. We have the library built and some books to fill it. We need your help in finding a space for it to go!!

Our president got all of our initiation certificates signed yesterday! We are so excited to welcome almost 50 new members to our chapter! See you all Saturday at 10AM in the Old Main!

We have our first chapter meeting tonight at 8PM in DeGarmo 551! See you there!

Kappa Delta Pi is planning on planting a neighborhood library within the next six months somewhere within the Bloomington Normal area. This would look like a large birdhouse, but be filled with books for children to take and return as they please!
We would love to start collecting books of all levels in order to start filling it! We will be setting up a book drive on campus in the fall as well!
