IRID

lllinois RID is a state affiliate chapter of the national professional organization, Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. We are a member-driven organization committed to education, networking, and resource sharing. The philosophy of IRID is that excellence in the delivery of interpretation/transliteration services among deaf and hard of hearing and people who are hearing will ensure effective communication. As the professional association for interpreters and transliterators, IRID serves as an essential arena for its members in their pursuit of excellence.
