📣 October 10th: Newsletter advertising deadline! Ad sales are ongoing, so get those submissions in for placement in the newsletter.

What an amazing time of learning, networking, service, fellowship, and FCCD family at the 96th Annual Criminal Justice Training Institute in St. Augustine! 💚

Chapter 12 is proud to celebrate an incredible Institute filled with some very special moments:

🏆 Chapter Effectiveness Achieved! Our chapter was recognized for its continued commitment to service, engagement, professional development, and the mission of FCCD.

🎓 A Prestigious Honor! Our Chapter 12 President, Angelica Pennington, was honored as a recipient of the Ray D. McCleese Scholarship — a meaningful recognition that reminds us of the importance of leadership, legacy, and paving the way for those who come behind us.

🇺🇸 Running for a Cause! Chapter 12 joined the Institute Fun Run/Walk, helping raise more than $400 in support of Veterans. We were also honored to donate towels for participants as a small way of supporting a great event and an even greater cause.

🛍️ A Little Chapter 12 Flavor! We brought along our custom reusable snack bags for the Institute — because networking, training, and late-night conference conversations definitely require snacks! 😄

But beyond the awards, accomplishments, and activities, one of the greatest parts of the week was simply being together — reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, exchanging ideas, and enjoying the fellowship that makes FCCD truly feel like family.

We returned home inspired, grateful, and ready to keep serving.
