Bluebonnet Trails Ranch
We are a family learning all we can about life on a ranch, Grass feed Beef, Pastured Chicken, Pastured Eggs, Bees and Honey then so much more.
We started this journey by following the dreams of our Father. He was learning to keep bees from a good friend. It was so amazing we joined in. Now we have learned Bee keeping, Pastured Poultry, Cattle Ranching, and Gardening. We hope to provide quality, local meats and vegetables to our local community.

Some beautiful fresh white sandwich bread, if I do say so myself. ā¤ļø
Learning to make bread has become one of my favorite things, but it didnāt start because I wanted to sell bread. It started because I wanted something better for my family.
A few years ago, I picked up a loaf of store-bought bread and actually read the ingredient list. Around that same time, we were doing a Scout project where we left different foods out to see what would happen. One of those items was a slice of store-bought bread.
A month later⦠it looked almost exactly the same.
That really made me stop and think. If mold and even pests werenāt interested in it, what exactly was I feeding my family? It wasnāt scientific proof of anything, but it was enough to make me start asking questions and looking for healthier options.
Three years later, Iāve had the privilege of learning how to make bread from simple, familiar ingredients. Itās been a journey full of trial and error, flour-covered countertops, and lots of happy taste testers around our table.
Thereās something deeply satisfying about slicing into a warm loaf that I made with my own hands, knowing exactly whatās in it. Every loaf reminds me why I started.
Sometimes the best journeys begin with one simple question: āCan I do better for my family?ā
Iām so grateful this one did. ā¤ļø
