A comprehensive new study from S&P Global Energy finds expanded biofuel demand could transform American agriculture, reignite rural economies and provide global food and energy security.
Commissioned by USFRA, the research will be unveiled today on Capitol Hill. The event will feature comments from Senator Chuck Grassley, Senator Tina Smith, U.S. Department of Agriculture Policy Advisor Kelsey Barnes, S&P Global Energy analysts and USFRA leadership about the study’s key findings.

Announcing the 2026 Distinguished Leadership Award Recipient - Corey Geiger.
From journalism to economics, Corey has dedicated his career to advancing the dairy community. A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, he spent 28 years with Hoard’s Dairyman, including many as managing editor, and now serves as the lead dairy economist for CoBank.
Corey has also served many dairy community organizations, including the Holstein Association USA board of directors. He resides in Omro, Wisconsin, with his wife Krista Knigge.
