It’s been 19 years and 8 months since the release of this Masterpiece.
Filming Apocalypto in the jungles of Veracruz, Mexico, was one of the most demanding experiences of my career. We faced difficult terrain, unpredictable weather, the challenge of coordinating thousands of extras, and the realities of shooting entirely on location in the jungle. It was a logistical feat, but those challenges helped create the authenticity and intensity I wanted the film to have. Thank you to all who stood by me through this tough times . Much love ❤️
