‼️ 8 YEARS ‼️🎂

DYK that the only reason we formalized our pickle passion project 8 years ago was to participate in the (fka Pickledelphia)! It all started after our gifting Chef Mike’s famous pickles to guests of our wedding reception. We created an instagram while on our honeymoon in Italy and the rest is history.

It feels unreal to me that this journey began for us nearly a decade ago. Life was iMmEnSely different in 2018. Mike and I were growing in our respective chef and dietitian careers, freshly married and had just purchased our home in Fishtown when the opportunity to start Fishtown Pickles fell into our laps.

Over the years, we (and our business) survived a pandemic, our son was born, we lost my dad, Mike lost his job, I left mine and we grew our business. Now we manufacture enough pickles to distribute to nearly 200 retailers, vend at hundreds of farmer markets and ship nationwide. Some days it really feels unbelievable 😭

We say that we are More Than Just Pickles, because of our mission to create joy, meaningful community and protect the planet with pickles.

We foster a team of incredibly passionate people that are committed to the same goals. We give back to organizations working towards a safe and more equitable world while working to “uncommodify” pickles by serving a fresher, bolder and more purposeful pickle that IS better for you and makes you feel better, too.

Some of you have been here for every one of the last 8 years and we are truly in awe and so, so grateful. You are the reason we are stilll here and that is the truth. Whether you are new here or not, our promise is to continue serving you with integrity, care and high quality pickles that we manufacture ourselves!
