Say hello to the newest member of the team at Metz Petz Veterinary Clinic of Shawnee, Dr. Laney Stephens!

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Stephens recently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Although she's new to life as a veterinarian, she's no stranger to veterinary medicine, bringing nine years of experience in the field after working as both a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant.

Dr. Stephens is passionate about caring for pets and building lasting relationships with the families who love them. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, watching Netflix, and spending time with her two clever orange cats, who have learned to ring bells and perform tricks.

As she begins this exciting new chapter in Ohio, she's looking forward to experiencing her first Ohio State football game and seeing her very first white winter.

A passion for making a difference is what led Dr. Lydia Clegg to veterinary medicine, and now that passion is bringing her to Lillington Veterinary Hospital. Please join us in welcoming her as the newest Associate Veterinarian! 🐾💙

Dr. Clegg earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. She brings experience in both small animal and exotic animal medicine, with professional interests that include preventive care, senior pet medicine, surgery, and caring for exotic species.

💬 Reflecting on what inspired her career, Dr. Clegg shared, "I always wanted a career that made a difference in the world. Human medicine wasn't for me, so I turned to veterinary medicine and have never looked back!"

Outside the hospital, Dr. Clegg enjoys reading, traveling, fishing, and attending concerts. She has also cared for some truly unique patients throughout her career, including an axolotl and a peacock.

Kyle brings more than 15 years of veterinary leadership experience to our internal team, most recently serving as Practice Manager at Goose Creek Veterinary Clinic. But his EverVet story actually began in 2022, when his hospital joined the EverVet network.

Reflecting on that experience, Kyle shared, "What struck me was the passion that the people who support our hospitals show on a daily basis." That passion inspired him to become part of the bigger picture, and today, he is helping shape the future of veterinary medicine across all 39 EverVet hospitals.

For Kyle, technology has never been about replacing the human side of veterinary medicine. It is about strengthening it. As he puts it, "The medicine is remarkable, but what keeps me here is watching a team take care of each other on a day that has already asked too much of them." His goal is to bring AI into our hospitals in ways that give time back to veterinary teams, allowing them to focus on what matters most: exceptional care for pets, clients, and each other.

Dr. Lockrey recently joined the team at The Pet Mechanic Fishtown, bringing a passion for collaborative medicine and a diverse clinical background spanning general practice, emergency medicine, specialty medicine, and exotic animal care.

A Philadelphia native, Dr. Lockrey is excited to return home and care for pets in the community she knows and loves. She believes that exceptional veterinary medicine starts with strong relationships, and she's dedicated to partnering with pet owners to provide compassionate, personalized care throughout every stage of a pet's life. Her professional interests include internal medicine, exotic animal care, and end-of-life care.

Of course, it wasn't all meetings! We wrapped up the week with a Phillies game, enjoying some well-earned time together outside the office. ⚾🩵

For as long as she can remember, Dr. King has known she wanted to dedicate her life to caring for animals. Today, that passion brings her back to Pocono Peak Veterinary Center, where she's excited to care for pets and the families who love them.

After earning her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. King built experience in internal medicine, surgery, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and high-volume spay and neuter. She has a special interest in surgery, orthopedic and sports medicine, and nutrition, and is committed to helping every patient live a healthier, happier life.

When she's not in the clinic, you'll likely find Dr. King hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, or training with her dogs. She also gives back to her community as a K9 handler for Northeast Search and Rescue alongside her certified search dog.

Dr. Moore's path to veterinary medicine began with an unforgettable encounter with Buffy, a three-legged dog receiving acupuncture treatments. After shadowing a veterinarian, she discovered a passion for caring for pets and the people who love them, and she's been pursuing that calling ever since.

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Moore earned her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. She previously worked as a veterinary assistant in general practice and volunteered at a local cat shelter, helping care for cats as they waited to find their forever homes.

Her professional interests include oncology, soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine, and caring for pets with disabilities. She found the perfect home at Just Cats, where she's excited to care for her favorite patients and help support lifelong feline health.

When she's not at the hospital, you'll find Dr. Moore enjoying a good book, a matcha latte, and time with her cats, Nelson and Astrid, or exploring new places with her partner, Eli.

For Tish Borelli, Practice Manager at The Pet Mechanic Fishtown, that commitment extends far beyond the hospital walls. Tish is the dedicated force behind Tulip’s Timestamps, a foster-based 501(c)(3) feline rescue working tirelessly to save at-risk cats and kittens throughout Philadelphia.

Through a network of loving foster homes, Tulip’s Timestamps provides vulnerable cats with the medical care, safety, and support they need while helping them find loving forever families. By keeping cats out of overcrowded shelters, Tish and her team are giving each one the time, care, and second chance they deserve.

We’re incredibly proud to have someone as compassionate and dedicated as Tish within the EverVet Pack.
