I have truly lost count of how many pieces I've completed in my furniture artistry journey (maybe I should count them one day 🤔) but I occasionally fall in love with pieces. This is one of those pieces. This drawer front has a complete border of missing trim and I was bummed out. I could've absolutely went on the hunt for the trim replacement, I could've even sculpted it back free hand but I decided to modernize it by removing the remaining trim, filling the large area and painting a black trim inside. How freaking cool?! It really brings this piece to 2026.
