All Hands-On Science

In the United States, only 18% of African American 4th Graders are proficient in mathematics. All Hands on Science is a program intended to change that. Students of Villanova University go into schools in Philadelphia to teach children about science and math while creating a fun environment. The program consists of multiple projects (Balsa wood plane design and construction, bridge design and construction, parachute construction etc.) to get children excited about science and math.
