The Roxborough/Manayunk Conservancy

The days are getting shorter and we have just 2 more tuesdays on the schedule. Join us tomorrow evening at Germany Hill Park from 6-8pm. We have a range of tasks to suit every vibe from trash, pick up, to reading and prep for fall planting, and even some storm management work. Please join us tomorrow 8:30-10:30 AM at the Roxborough Library. This will be the last Roxborough Library Gardening Group meeting for 2026. Join us in heaping praise on the wonderful work the volunteers and stewards have done! Make sure to take a tour next time you visit the library. The garden friends a work in partnership with the RMC Roxborough Manayunk Conservancy and the Village on Ridge Village on the Ridge

We are so excited for this walk! Join BirdPhilly and Roxborough Manayunk Conservancy for a 2.3-mile guided bird walk through Manayunk, exploring birds across distinct habitats—including woodlands, riparian forests, and waterways— and learn a little history along the way as well :)

Our route connects three RMC-stewarded sites: Germany Hill Park, Fountain Street Steps & the Manayunk Canal Trail, and includes nature trails, uneven terrain, steps, and paved sections. Wear sturdy shoes — depending on the weather some trails may be muddy.

How to get there:
🚆 Take the SEPTA Manayunk/Norristown Line to Ivy Ridge Station (there is a train arriving at 9:30am !).
🚗 Street parking is available or park at the SEPTA Station parking lot for $2/day.

All are welcome! No experience necessary — we'll have extra binoculars or you can borrow some from the Free Library Roxborough library
