Happy Women’s Equality Day! This day commemorates women in the United States gaining the constitutional right to vote, celebrating the suffragists and reformers who changed our country forever.

Understanding this history helps us appreciate current achievements, while recognizing the ongoing challenges women face worldwide. The fight for equality extends far beyond voting rights to encompass workplace fairness, educational opportunities, healthcare access, and leadership representation. I’m proud to continue fighting for equality in Harrisburg and right here at home.
