Heirloom tomato portraits I captured in my home studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn

I love the summer farmers market, the varied colors and organic shapes of the heirlooms tomatoes capture my imagination. They each reflect light in their own way to tell a unique story.

42 on a Monday…

This morning we picked up my father-in-law’s ashes, then I returned home to shoot some kid’s clothing for a client. Life is weird, it feels like a good day to document with a selfie. On Saturday I turned 41.5 and yesterday my dad turned 76. Time keeps moving on by. My face is showing the time more and more, I’m doin pretty good.

Dark times, dark textures.
