Before our last class, our painting instructor decided to let everybody create their own designs!🐼 😂 💀We had an eclectic mix of butterflies, an adorable panda, spooky scary skeletons, soccer team spirit and some Russian and Algerian pride from our younger friends…. who probably painted their faces at least 12 times before they finally got it right! 😂😂🇩🇿⚽️🦋🇷🇺💕Oh and some new specie of flowers growing out of our mama panda bear’s arm 😂🐼💕 We had lots of fun! 🤩 🌸🌸🦠

“Halloween Week” during our 9th & 10th face painting class!💀We had hungry zombies trying to eat Mrs. Hunter’s brain, Day of the Dead skeletons, pop art zombies, and a cute little butterfly who did her own makeup all by herself! 🦋 💀🩸🧟‍♂️Ah, we ❤️ Halloween at Capitolo! 🎃Even if it’s only June. 🦇 And some extra ❤️❤️ to our soccer coach in disguise! 🥸 See if you can find her?? 😂

A lot of clowning around going on during our 8th face painting class over at Capitolo.🤡😂 Now that everyone is getting into their own groove with their paints, our artists had lots of fun taking their own creative spin with this assignment . 🎨🫟🤡 They were supposed to be cute clowns… ya think they ended up on the creepy side? 🤡😂

Our artists painted themselves as puppies for our 7th facepainting class! 🐶🐾 Some had spots, some had glitter… Mrs. Hunter, the puppy at the end is just about ready to be sent to the pound by the staff at Capitolo. 😂🐾🐾

With the rainstorm yesterday we had to close up our outdoor fundraiser, but we will be outside around 6:30 pm till around 8:30 pm this evening! It’s a hot day for some cool snow cones! Stop by the field gate past the sprinkler! ❤️🕊️

Wednesday evening, we are celebrating the life of our dear friend, Lupe. She was the heart of her family; a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend who spent her life caring for others.

She and her husband have been friends of Capitolo for more than 20 years and was always constantly giving to our kids’ programs. She was always donating supplies from her restaurant and often lent us a helping hand as our after school program was first starting out.

Her warm smiles, motherly hugs, delicious food & generousity will forever be remembered.
🕊️
Thank you for coming out to help support her family during this difficult time.
