Today I’m reacting to a case where an NFL player was accused of assault, went to trial, and the jury found him not guilty.
This is bigger than one athlete.
A serious accusation can destroy someone’s career, reputation, money, and freedom before all the facts come out.
In this case, the testimony, text messages, payment dispute, and money demand made the whole situation look worse and worse.
I believe real victims should be taken seriously.
But false accusations should also come with real consequences.
Because when someone lies about something this serious, it hurts innocent people and makes it harder for real victims to be believed.
Parents Are Losing Trust In Public Schools

If you tend to speak your mind often, think twice. While it might work sometimes, in Thai culture, directness can be seen negatively behind the scenes. You might become known as difficult or a complainer, and that can change how people treat you.
