Propagating pine trees - automation of pulling bareroot pines to plant in state forest land.
A mature pine tree drinks 5000 gallons annually.
A mature oak drinks 800 gallons annually.
A 25 year old tree is considered mature.

Zoning with percent permeable surface is a whole different story when it comes to lessening storm water with trees. There are many flaws in the way we cut down trees along interjurisdictional roadways. Many times a state road will cut down trees, for multiple purposes like updating electric lines / stormwater drains / side walks / tap water lines / sewer manhole access and this off set in storm water doesn't get communicated to the local municipality which is responsible for the MS4 reporting which is a federally mandated annual report regarding the need to address and responsibly manage storm water changes in there jurisdiction.

lifespan of

The longest life in your yard might be older than your house.

A box turtle can live for more than a century. A snapping turtle may outlive generations of people. Meanwhile, a luna moth gets about a week as an adult, and a monarch butterfly may only have a few weeks to complete its journey.

🌿 Nature doesn't measure importance by lifespan.

Some creatures spend decades shaping an ecosystem. Others have only days or weeks to pollinate flowers, feed young, recycle nutrients, or become part of the food web.

The smallest lives often leave the biggest impact.

Take a closer look at the wildlife around you—you may be sharing your yard with stories that began long before you arrived.

Thank you Keystone ten million trees you made allot of good happen in Pennsylvania.

From Trees to Tubex, stakes and gloves a partnership providing the resources to nonprofits, civil associations, municipalities and parks. What a great program and a wonderful way to cut the red tape.

Now partners have to tend the trees, removing invasives watering them when they need them. There is allot of work that goes on past the planting of the trees.

Lidar is a type of sensor used with a drone which scans the contour of land which can pe*****te the canopy of a forest. This tech is a beneficial technology which enables everything from, storm water / erosion mapping to prevent land slides, modem day archeology, forest forensics, crime forensics, and also are useful tools for orchards / agricultural.
A drone pilot license enables many unpromoted occupations or small business opportunities which can protect lives, property, and help with the integrity of local farmer's crops using nvdi images scanning agriculture with ardu pilot to point out unhealthy crops to prioritize watering, pesticide, herbiciding, or applying / fertilizer.
Use your talent for non-military purposes to help our environment, wildlife, and community farming with a fulfilling occupation.
There are instances of storms / cyclones in Indonesia where the last of endangered Orangutans populations where swept away as the whole island became a landslide. Using Lidar mapping we can fortify the channels that have fast following water, slowing the water, or adding support for the soil preventing erosion and landslides which can can protect our people, wildlife, and native habitat with some know how.
There is the concept of "its not worth it" where a for profit company cannot make money where their are not funds to protect us from storms. Well having your own business, for profit or nonprofit, with a drone pilot license changes that. You can save the world, have fun, explore, and use high technology without being in the military. Use your talent for good, change the world with your own hands.
99% of drone racing pilots have been offered jobs in US defense industry.
99% of the fun, fly like a bird, drone racing, hobby drone piloting and drone photography with and other manufacturers of drones have been taken over by our US military with a goal of manufacturing a huge amount of drones for warfare.
RC hobby flying of recreational drones is safe, fun, and more valuable as a tool in civilian occupations than in our military.
You can fly helicopters, planes, or have a drone pilot license, get paid and change the world in a positive way instead of being told to kill people in our military.
I see that as a chivalrous action where you save people instead of harm them.

Shown below if topography, using Lidar to identify were the most fast flowing consolidated flow in a storm would be the most useful places to slow storm water with pseudo beaver dams or what ever solution you have to prevent the start of a land slide.
