VETERANS DAY BASH NOVEMBER 1 | 12–6 PM
We’re bringing the community together for another incredible event with Balanced Veterans Network.
Over 50 vendors on site, VA resources, free haircuts, wellness activities, flash tattoos, and three food trucks.
We’ll also have a tank, half-track, and three Humvees on display to reminisce.

We’ll have raffles throughout the event, including an AC Infinity Advance 2x2 Complete Grow Setup that one veteran will take home.

Today was a monumental moment for Balanced Veterans Network and alternative therapy advocacy.
Our very own Eric Jansen spoke at the FDA’s public hearing on the future therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs, bringing the veteran experience directly into a national conversation about the future of these therapies.
Like far too many veterans, Eric’s story is one we’ve heard again and again. Veterans have spent years searching for options, traveling outside traditional systems, and fighting for access to treatments that could improve their quality of life.
Today, Eric had two minutes to speak for that experience and for a community that deserves to be heard.
“We stood for this country. Now, this country must stand for us.”
We couldn’t be more proud to have Eric representing Balanced Veterans Network and our community in this room.
Now is the time for change. Veterans need to be part of these conversations, not after decisions are made, but while the future is being shaped.

BVN is back in Washington, D.C.
This Monday is a monumental moment for Balanced Veterans Network and the continued fight for veterans healing.
Out of hundreds of applicants few were chosen. Our very own Eric Jansen has been selected to speak at the FDA’s public hearing on the potential future therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs.
This is a federal conversation about what the future of psychedelic therapies could look like, and the FDA is bringing together voices to help inform that conversation. Eric will be there making sure the veteran community is represented.
We couldn’t be more proud.
For years, Balanced Veterans Network has continued to show up in the conversations surrounding alternative therapies, psychedelic medicine, veteran wellness and the need for more options.
We’ve walked the halls of Congress. We’ve sat at the tables. We’ve shared our stories. And on Monday, one of our own will speak directly at an FDA hearing that could help inform how these therapies are approached in the future.
These are pivotal times for real change, and once again, BVN has a seat at the table.
Eric, we’re proud to have you representing our community and the veterans who deserve every opportunity to explore safe, responsible and evidence-based paths toward wellness.

This is a major moment in the ongoing fight for common-sense cannabis policy and constitutional rights.
Today, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the federal government cannot automatically prosecute or disarm someone simply because they use ma*****na. In a 9-0 decision, the Court found that applying the federal fi***rm prohibition to a Texas ma*****na user violated his Second Amendment rights. The ruling doesn’t completely eliminate the law, but it significantly limits the government’s ability to treat cannabis consumers as inherently dangerous or strip them of constitutional protections solely because they use cannabis.
For years, millions of Americans have lived under a contradictory system where they could legally use cannabis under state law while simultaneously risking the loss of federal rights. Today’s decision is another step toward ending that inconsistency.
At Balanced Veterans Network, we’ve long believed veterans should not have to choose between the medicine that helps them and the rights they’ve earned through their service. This ruling acknowledges what many have argued for years: cannabis use alone does not automatically make someone a threat to themselves or others.
Progress rarely happens all at once. It happens one conversation, one study, one policy change, and one court decision at a time.

The company says every eligible blind veteran in the U.S. can receive a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, along with training to help them use the technology in daily life.
The technology can describe surroundings, read text aloud, and help users navigate everyday life—offering a new level of independence to those living with vision loss.
According to Meta, more than 130,000 American veterans are legally blind and will be eligible for Ray-Ban Meta glasses.
