"Utilizing themes of the tarot to tell the story of death and rebirth under late-stage capitalism, this media composition offers reclamative power to the oppressed through visceral visuals and political satire."

SER LIVRE SER LIVRE (to be free) is a 3-part music video anthology, set to the music of Unboned, written and directed by Lydia Ruth Conner. 🇺🇸❤️‍🔥 WE WANT YOU to invest in a timely work of American protest art!

SER LIVRE (Portuguese for “To Be Free”) is a 3-part music video anthology, set to intentionally selected music of UNBONED, visually crafted to be a visceral and cathartic experience of American culture.

We are launching this GoFundMe to support our cast + crew, as well as offset production costs, so we may give an equitable kick-back to the talented artists of Philadelphia rallying together to make this vision a reality.

The more we raise, the more potent this message gets to be. The more we raise, the more we challenge the idea of the “starving artist.” The more we raise, the more power is placed behind us as that number rings true to what we’d like to stand for as a culture and a nation- an embodiment of a free voice, of exercising our rights, and of celebrating the liberties we have an obligation to stand up for as the calendar moves closer to America’s 250th birthday.

DONATE if you are able! Every dollar counts! SHARE far and wide so we may reach our goal! THANK YOU for your support and being a part of SER LIVRE.
