OGS RC20 Installed 20 years ago! Come to the celebration!
Mark your calendars! We invite you to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Patterson Observatory on Thursday, September 5. Starting at 5:00pm we'll have Guest Speaker David Levy - Amateur Astronomer, Science Writer, and Discoverer of Comets & Minor Planets. Levy is the discoverer or co-discoverer of 23 comets and has authored 34 books. We will provide light refreshments. Weather permitting, the anniversary reception will be followed by a public observing session at the observatory.

This telescope is capable of observing objects one million times fainter than the human eye can detect. Admission is free, but space is limited.
