September feels like a reset.

We settle back into routines, spend more time at home, and often start noticing spaces that could work better for how we actually live.

I currently have several projects underway and a few nearing completion, which means I have room to start conversations about what comes next.

A little behind-the-scenes from installation day.

The finished photos are always fun to share, but a lot happens before we get there.

This project is still coming together, but seeing the rug go down and the furniture being assembled is when all those plans and selections finally start to feel real.

A few more layers remain before these spaces are complete. I can't wait to share this project with you.

I think we ask the wrong question when we're designing our homes.

We often start with: What do I want this room to look like?

But I think there's a more important question:

Once we understand how we want a space to support our lives, the decisions about color, layout, lighting, furniture, and materials have a much deeper purpose.

Do you want your bedroom to help you slow down and rest? Your kitchen to make healthy routines easier? Your dining room to encourage people to linger a little longer?

They support the life happening inside them.

Sometimes it's the smallest details that have the greatest impact.

When I design a home, I'm thinking about much more than the "big" decisions. I'm considering how every finish, texture, material, and custom detail contributes to the way the space feels to live in.

Those thoughtful choices may seem small on their own, but together they create a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Beautiful homes aren't just about making a statement; they're about creating an environment that supports your everyday life.

What's one small detail in your home that brings you joy every day?

I’ve shared pieces of this Ardmore main bedroom along the way, and I’m so excited to finally share the finished space.

The room already had some of the pieces, but it never quite felt complete. From the custom window seats and Roman shades to the bedding, lighting, and finishing details, everything came together to create a space that feels softer, more cohesive, and truly finished.

I love this transformation and those window seats might just be my favorite part 💙
