Congrats to our newest officers!

Last evening, members of the Whitemarsh Township Police Department proudly attended the graduation ceremony for our newest police officers following their successful completion of recruit training at the Montgomery County Police Academy, Class #2601.

The Municipal Police Academy is a rigorous, state-certified Act 120 training program requiring cadets to complete a 919-hour curriculum, maintain 100% attendance, and successfully pass 26 written examinations. The approximately six-month program includes intensive instruction Monday through Friday, along with additional Sunday fi****ms training sessions.

Training includes:
• 84 hours of physical and emotional readiness
• 66 hours of defensive tactics
• 124 hours of fi****ms training
• Emergency response and critical incident preparedness
• Extensive legal, investigative, and patrol-related instruction

A great night at Brittingham’s with our retired officers! It was awesome catching up, sharing stories, and spending time with the people who helped pave the way for us.

Thanks to everyone who came out. We had a great time and can’t wait to do it again!

William Jeanes Library held a raffle which benefits the children’s library. Two generous winners got a tour of Whitemarsh Police Department and a chance to meet everyone’s favorite officer, K9 Ana!

Whitemarsh Police had a great time cheering on all the athletes at the AMBUCS/ Montgomery County Special Olympics, Pennsylvania Track and Field Invitational. Whitemarsh Police Officers had the honor of presenting awards along with K-9 Anna!

Today, the Whitemarsh Township Police Department proudly partnered with AIM Academy, the AIM Mountain Bike Team, Girls in Gear, and many amazing community supporters for our Community Unity Ride & Bike Donation Event.

Police officers, students, educators, and community members rode together from Spring Mill to AIM Academy to celebrate the donation of refurbished bicycles to Girls in Gear — helping provide opportunities, confidence, and new experiences for young riders in our community.

Congratulations to Sergeant Matthew Stadulis on his completion of the 10 week program at the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command

Congrats to Sgt. Mundy who received the 2025 MSWAT -CR physical fitness award. This recognition is awarded to the swat operator who sets the highest standard of fitness during the year.
