This keepsake bottle pendant might be one of my favorite designs to make.

The bottle opens, so it can hold tiny treasures that mean something special to you. Crystal chips, flower petals, beach sand, ashes, a tiny written note, or whatever memory you want to keep close.

Every curve, weave, and coil in the copper was done by hand to create a piece that’s both functional and artistic.

If you had one of these, what would you put inside it?

Tiny bottles for tiny treasures. A pinch of beach sand from a favorite trip. A lock of fur from a beloved pet. Dried flower petals from a special day. Crystal chips. Tiny notes. Even that random little object you can’t throw away because it means something.

Every bottle gets a unique copper wrap, and I’m finding myself wanting to make more and more of them.

This stone didn’t always look like this.

It started as a rough piece of material and ended up as a finished cabochon after some careful cutting, shaping, and polishing. Every stone has a surprise hidden inside, and that’s one of the reasons I enjoy lapidary work so much.

I recorded the whole transformation from rough to finished, and it’s amazing how different the stone looks once the surface is worked and polished.

Would you have guessed these colors were hiding inside the rough?

One thing people don’t always see is how many times a piece gets redesigned before it’s finished.

Sometimes I sit down with a stone and the wrap comes together perfectly. Other times I get halfway through and realize it’s just not right. The balance is off, the design isn’t working, or it doesn’t showcase the stone the way I want it to.

When that happens, I cut it apart and start again.

It’s frustrating in the moment, but that’s part of handmade art. Every failed attempt teaches me something that helps create a better finished piece.

The pieces you see here aren’t just the result of success—they’re also the result of all the times I was willing to start over.

What’s something you’ve worked on that took multiple tries before you got it right?

This was such a fun and meaningful project to be part of.

The amethyst cabochon was made by my customer with some guidance from me throughout the process. Seeing someone learn the lapidary side of things and create their own stone is always exciting.

After he finished the cab, I wrapped it in copper and transformed it into a pendant for his wife.

I love pieces like this because they tell a story. It wasn’t just a gift—it was something he helped create from the stone all the way to the finished jewelry.

That’s the kind of handmade work that means a little extra.

This little amethyst and peridot wrap turned out so delicate and elegant 💜💚

I love making smaller pendants because every wire has to be intentional. There’s nowhere to hide mistakes in tiny designs 😂

The soft purple amethyst paired with that bright little peridot accent gives this piece such a fresh, almost nature-inspired feel. The copper really warmed everything up perfectly too.

Honestly, gemstone color combinations are one of my favorite parts of creating. Sometimes two stones just belong together.

This horse pendant was completely hand woven in antiqued copper with flowing strands designed to capture the movement of a windswept mane. Deep blue lapis accents and delicate crystal details bring even more life and energy to the piece.

Every wire was placed by hand, front and back, making this a true wearable artwork. 💙

I wanted this design to feel untamed and soulful — like the spirit of a horse running through open country at dusk.

Okay but can we talk about this mane for a second? 🐎✨

This horse pendant turned into one of those pieces where the wire completely took over in the best way possible. I wanted the mane to feel flowing and alive — almost like it was moving in the wind — and the lapis accents added the perfect bold contrast against the copper.

Tiny leaves, layered wire movement, deep blue stones… this one was pure creative chaos and I honestly love how dramatic it came out.

Horse lovers, crystal lovers, wire wrap lovers… this piece kind of hit all three worlds at once 😂
