"Thanks to a warm Spring in the Valley, we are starting to see early-harvested dates this year. As always, Black Sphinx Dates are available in limited quantities, with additional fruit arriving throughout the harvest as it becomes available. Place your order now and we will ship on a first-come, first-served basis as more become available. Over the next few weeks, we expect to receive the new harvest of Medjool dates and other specialty varieties.
For Phoenix area customers, in-store pickup is available online. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup. Our storefront hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm."

🍴 Era il 1986 quando un gruppo di gastronomi dell’entroterra cuneese, curiosi, impegnati nel sociale e nella politica, e appassionati di gastronomia, diede vita a Bra a quello che sarebbe diventato il più grande “movimento del cibo”, oggi presente in oltre 100 Paesi del mondo.

🐌 Mentre la società raccontava il cibo attraverso l'industria e il mito della velocità e ne celebrava calorie e rendimenti, a partire dal Piemonte, qualcuno decise che il progresso poteva avere un sapore diverso. Nasceva così, da un’intuizione di Carlo Petrini, una realtà associativa unica al mondo, prima con il nome di Arcigola, e poi con il geniale gioco di parole Slow Food, in antitesi alla Fast Life.

Quarant'anni sono un'intera generazione. Abbastanza per vedere il pianeta scaldarsi, le foreste ridursi, i semi sparire dai campi e riapparire nei musei. Abbastanza per assistere alla globalizzazione dei gusti e alla resistenza silenziosa di chi ha creduto nella nostra visione del futuro. Abbastanza per capire che non si trattava solo di cibo.

🌱 Per questo in occasione di Terra Madre abbiamo immaginato una maratona:

4️⃣ giorni, 4️⃣0️⃣ voci, 4️⃣0️⃣ anni.

Quaranta persone – contadini, cuochi, scienziati, attivisti, giornalisti, filosofi, agricoltori dell'impossibile – che uno dopo l'altro raccontano un frammento di questa storia comune. Non un convegno. Non una celebrazione. Ma una conversazione collettiva e aperta su cosa è cambiato, cosa si è perso, cosa invece – contro ogni previsione – è stato salvato o inventato.

🧩 Ogni intervento è un tassello. Insieme formano un mosaico di senso: la storia di un movimento che ha scelto il piacere come forma di resistenza e la biodiversità come atto politico.
