For individuals and families transitioning into housing, a comforter helps transform an empty room into a space that feels safe, welcoming, and lived in.

At Life Startup Essentials, we believe it's the everyday essentials that help make a house feel like home. 💙

Thanks to the incredible support of Edward Jones, 100 first aid kits were distributed through Family Promise of Montgomery County to families with children, individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, and neighbors rebuilding their lives.

These kits have already been placed into the hands of families staying in shelter and graduates of the program, with additional kits supporting community outreach and emergency shelter efforts.

When we all come together, we can provide more than just essential supplies. We can offer peace of mind, support, and hope when it's needed most. 💙 Thank you, Edward Jones!

📚🧸 150 kids. Three communities. Countless new stories waiting to be read.

This summer, LSE partnered with the Maricopa Reads Summer Reading Program to bring Build-A-Buddy to Aguila, El Mirage, and Guadalupe, giving 150 children a stuffed companion to encourage a love of reading and learning.

Every buddy quickly found a home, but the stories behind them are what we'll remember most.

One child shared that her buddy reminded her of a dog she had lost. Another couldn't wait to take hers home to be her new reading companion, someone to hold close while sounding out new words and building confidence with every page.

These moments are why Build-A-Buddy exists. A stuffed animal may seem simple, but it can become a source of comfort, confidence, and encouragement, helping children associate reading with joy and creating memories that last far beyond the summer.

The Housing Hero Project is headed to Tempe, AZ!

This week we got the chance to sit down with the Tempe Community CouncilCity of Tempe Governmentick off our exciting partnership. Together, we will provide Welcome Home Kits to our neighbors exiting homelessness or housing instability. Filled with move-in essentials, these kits ensure that when a new tenant walks across the threshold of their new home, that moment feels like hope, relief, not another problem to solve.

Our goal is to help our neighbors, who are doing everything they can to survive, succeed… today and every day after.

A successful transition into housing takes more than a set of keys. 🏠

When individuals and families move into an empty home, everyday essentials can have a lasting impact. A bed provides a safe place to sleep. A stocked kitchen makes it possible to prepare meals. Cleaning supplies help residents maintain their home and meet housing requirements. Towels and toiletries support daily routines that promote health, stability, and confidence.

At Life Startup Essentials, we believe these aren't just housewares. They're tools that help people build a strong foundation for the future.
