Calling all youth sports organizations & Title I schools — we’re expanding our Student Athlete of the Month program.

Rising Valley Project is looking for 3 new program partners to join our flagship recognition program, honoring student athletes who lead with strong academics, positive character, and leadership in their sport.

How it works:

Your coaches or program leaders nominate a standout athlete. The RVP board selects the monthly winner. We surprise them at one of their games with a gift box and certificate — celebrated in front of their team and family.

Two partnership tiers:

1. Sponsored Partners
2. Paid Partners (small at-cost fee covering gift boxes)

Ready to celebrate your student athletes? Scan the QR code or email us to get started.

Introducing our final RVP Stand-Out Student Athlete of the Spring Series — Aly! 🎉

Aly is a 4th grader at Sun Valley Academy who is leading the way in the classroom and in life. Straight A’s in Q3 — including perfect 100s in Leader in Me and Technology — plus an Honor Roll Certificate for Academic Excellence. That kind of consistency doesn’t happen by accident.

His teacher, Ms. Taylor, put it perfectly: Aly has been a model student for his classmates — showing what it means to be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.

Student. Scholar. Leader. That’s Aly. 👏📚

Thank you to for their continued support, and for fostering an amazing youth sports environment for our young student-athletes to thrive in.☀️

Way to go, Aly! 🎉

To kick off the spring semester, meet our first RVP Student Athlete of the Month — Jace! 🎉

Jace has proven himself to be a true stand-out student-athlete, both in the classroom and on the field. He earned Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the second quarter and consistently shows up every single day ready to give his best.

Coaches and family describe Jace as hardworking, disciplined, and respectful — the type of student-athlete who leads by example. From his dedication at practice to his commitment in the classroom, he truly exemplifies what it means to be a Standout Student-Athlete.

As part of his recognition, Jace received our SAOTM gift basket — including a family pass to the Desert Botanical Garden for him and his family to enjoy! ☀️

Thank you to and for helping make this program as impactful as possible. Congratulations, Jace! 👏

This past weekend, we successfully hosted our very first Art & Wellness Workshop under the RVP Mental Health Initiative — and it was a powerful start!

A huge thank you to the incredible team at Creative Continuum Therapy for leading a meaningful, art therapy–inspired workshop. Their energy and compassion brought the event to life!

Through the support of our partners — Creative Continuum Therapy, Blick Art Materials, Phoenix Center for the Arts, and Crayola Experience Chandler — we created a safe and welcoming space for 8 youth in Phoenix to express themselves, connect, and take home new tools for mental wellness.

At RVP, our goal is to provide accessible mental health resources to youth across the Valley. This workshop is just the beginning. ☀️
